The Day Where I Went Missing - According to My Parents

My Dad e-mailed us(the entire family) this.
Kids,

Got something interesting to tell you.

Yesterday (Thursday), it was already 5 pm and yr Mama said Bijai had not come back home. She can be late sometime because she goes to the library after school, but it had NEVER been that late.

So we were very worried. We went to town, checked the van station to Dungang. There was a girl that looked like her from the back, but it was not her.

Worried, we circled the whole town. Even went to the school.

We called home where her handphone was. It rang. No answer. Meaning she didn't reach home yet.

Now we started imagining all sorts of horrors. Why didn't she call?

We called her classmate Ernie. She said Susan went home sometime after 1 pm. Where could she have gone to? Has she been kidnapped? Who would want to kidnap the daughter of some poor parents? Could she have been taken by some sex offenders and deviants?

Sad, worried, we went home.

The door  was still locked. The key was still in the shoes.

Then your Mama went to her bedroom, and I heard her say, "Bijai! Bila lagi kau pulang!" Reliefffff!

It turned out that she went home after 2 pm. She even said to yr Mama, "Matilah saya ini begini panas ni." I myself remember hearing her from upstairs, but yr Mama said it was Asah she was speaking to.

BUT YR MAMA HAS ABSOLUTELY NO MEMORY OF BIJAI REACHING HOME, SPEAKING TO HER AND GOING UPSTAIRS TO SLEEP WITHOUT EATING.

I now believe that yr Mama is suffering from SHORT MEMORY LOSSES -- a mental condition which is quite common in people approaching 60. We once went to Pukak and she panicked because after being in yr uncle's house half and hour, she realized she didn't remember HOW WE GOT THERE AND HAD TOTALLY NO MEMORY OF WHATEVER HAPPENED IN THE LAST ONE OR TWO HOURS!!! I first thought it was the devil occupying the house who was playing tricks on her. But now I believe it is all due to clinical reasons.

She simply got wiped out mentally for a short period! She even get seriously discoordinated while walking in tuaran Tuaran, losing her bearing and not knowing she is in broad daylight, and it would take sometime for her to get her bearing in order!!! We go somewhere and she absolutely has no idea where we parked ther car!!!!

She got this from Inan who also FREQUENTLY got lost in the middle of Tuaran town while walking about in broad daylight. My friend Wilfred also has this problem.

Don't worry. It is not a sign of Alzheimer's!!

NOW THE CONCERN FOR YOU IS --- HA, HA! ONE OR TWO OF YOU GUYS MAY HAVE IT IN YOUR GENE OR DNA!!!!!!!!

SO WATCH OUT!!!!

-Dad
